Thank you so much!! These are incredible! Our guests are absolutely RAVING about you
— Malena
Cody was an absolute joy to work with on our wedding day. He is incredibly kind, thoughtful & collaborative and was able to understand our vision for our big day and translate it perfectly into photographs we will always treasure. Many years later and we are still thrilled with how our photos turned out. Could not recommend working with Cody more!
— Emma & Charlie
Cody is so personable, energetic, and effervescent when he photographs his subjects, and it translates perfectly to making people feel comfortable in front of the camera and look their very best. He has a dramatic, editorial eye for capturing moments big and small, and is fast and efficient with his time and his gear. Cody offers a warm, calm presence even on the most hectic of wedding days. He is a total pro!

A few years ago, an art director and friend pitched me the idea of creating a Vanity Fair-style portrait studio at her wedding. This would not be your typical photo booth! We created a custom set with furniture and a canvas backdrop to match her wedding theme and then made portraits of the guests as a classic memory. At first, I was a bit nervous about posing people at a wedding, but after the first few subjects, I was in a groove. Very quickly, a massive line of guests formed, and we went on to create hundreds of beautiful portraits.

What I loved about the experience was creating unique memories for people who may not have been photographed formally in years—or ever! I've made portraits of couples who had been married for decades, siblings, and dear friends—all in a sophisticated and elegant style that matched the feel of their wedding day.

After designing the set, I work just as I would if shooting for a magazine. I shoot with tethered image capture, use a monitor for viewing, and position and pose subjects to help them look their best. Guests can see the images as they are made on a monitor and scan a QR code to pre-register for the gallery. The images are finished and uploaded within 48 hours!
